4. Students made a gossip column about the about The Missouri Compromise. Gossip columns needed to include the following: a title, a date,an image, and 2 separate sections.  In the first section, you need 3, 2-3 sections that talk about The Missouri Compromise and the second section you 2, 2-3 sections that talk about The Missouri Compromise. What is written is gossip that is factual thoughts about the outcome of the compromise.

2. Students read page 275. Then, they summarized the living conditions of slaves.
3. Students read pages 277-278. Students made a chart titled Resistance to Slavery Chart. The four sections are: Day to Day, Open Defiance, Running Away, and Rebellion. Students were responsible for writing three complete sentences in each section. If they want extra credit, students have the option of writing up to 5 things in each section.
