The CLMS Band Program serves 130 students at three levels of experience:

-Beginning Band

(New to band instruments)

-Concert Band

(one year of experience)

-Symphonic Band

(two or more years of experience)

Band is a highly creative performing art which encourages

growth all throughout the brain in a way no other activity can. This growth goes hand-in-hand with their academic growth as a whole. Also, band students develop traits including teamwork, responsibility, dedication, self-discipline, social skills, confidence, leadership, and dependability. Membership in the band program gives students a sense of accomplishment, pride, and respect as they develop musical and personal skills that enrich their lives.

Our goal is to create excellent sounds which engage listeners and performers with enjoyment and energy.
