4. Students worked on making a mini poster that encourages Americans, who are living in Texas, to break free of Mexico. Posters need the following: the word Texas, an image of The Lone Star State, the images of 3 people, who are Americans, who are giving testimonials that express their desire for cession from Mexico and why. Each testimonial must 2-3 sentences long, and a title.

2. Students began reading an article on whether or not walkouts are an effective form of protesting social issues.  Basically, they made a T-chart so far. On one side students listed the cons of walkouts and on the other side were the pros.
