Students read about The Boston Massacre on pages 69-70.  They watched a short clip on this.  Also, we had an open discussion on such topics but not limited to: police brutality, respect for authority, job description of police officers, etc.  Students were able to make comments about things that have or have not shown up in the news as of late.
