This essay is for a competition. Only one student will be chosen. The purpose of the essay is for you, in 5 paragraphs, to say what CLMS means to you. Out of all the LA classes, we, the LA teachers, can only pick 1 student. If you are serious about winning, you want to put some emotion in it. You want the readers to feel how passionately you feel about CLMS. Focus on what you were able to take from this school that you can apply towards the future. Put your heart and soul into this. Try to capture the audience with your gratitude and appreciation towards this school. If you need more assistance with this, please email me. I'm happy to give you additional advice on what might make an essay that has the potential to win. This essay is due on Fri. May 22nd, 2020. Best of luck to all of you! Sorry, I have on last piece of advice. Often times, kids focus on the friendships they have had and/or the good times that they have with their friends. Though this is important, try to stay away this. Focus on your teachers, the education you have received, what you have learned about yourself and others around you, etc. These are are the type of things that have been present in winning essays from my classes.  I hope this extra bit of info helps to those who decide to take on this challenge.
