Along with the reading, students worked on answering text dependent questions 3 and 4 from Text Dependent Question #5 assignment. #3-What do Harriet's reactions reveal about her ability to lead? Cite textual evidence from the text to support your answer. #4-What was the potential impact of one of the fugitives returning to the plantation? What was explicitly stated in the text that helped you under the impact.
3. Teacher discussed, with all students, their last paragraph.

2. Students wrote a persuasive paragraph on someone that society may  look negatively on but they view, in some way, positively.  Each student shared the name of person, why their person is looked upon in a negative way, and why they admire their particular person.
