2. Students answered 3 questions for FFA. 1.What happens when Charlie goes to the party with his co-workers? 2. What does Charlie realize about his co-workers? 3. How does Charlie's co-workers treat him now that he is intelligent?
3. Students and/or teacher read pages 234-235.
4. Freewrite #2-Fanny compares Charlie to Eve, a biblical character, who loses her innocence when she eats the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden. Has Charlie lost his innocence?  What does Charlie know now that he didn't know before?  Has his increased knowledge helped him or hurt him?  In a 1/2 page, answer the following questions in a free write format.

2. Students copied 3 questions under Text Dependent Question #4 1) What doe we learn about Charlie Gordon's character from progress report #2? 2) Is Charlie a good candidate for the experiment? 3) What do we learn about Charlie through his own analysis of Robinson Crusoe?  Number one was done as a class and number 2 was collected and graded.
3. Teacher discussed the IQ Test Scores
4. Fifteen Days of Celebration reading comprehension
5. Students and/or teacher read pages 222 to 225 of "Flowers for Algernon".  Instruction stopped at Progress Report #5 on 225

2. Freewrite #1-What is intelligence?  Can a person ever be to smart?  What is meant by the saying ignorance is bliss.  In a half page, answer the following questions in a freewrite format.
3. Students used the vocabulary words on page on 220 from "Flowers for Algernon" in sentences that show the teacher they understand the meaning of the word.

1. Monday and Tuesday's DLR for Week 18
2. Students filled out the K and W for KWL Chart #1.  The topic is Frankenstein.(per. 1 and 3 only)
3. Students watched Top 10 Notes: Frankenstein
4. Students and/or teacher read pages 639 to 640 of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
5. Students summarized 3rd paragraph found on page 640.

1. DLR Quiz #17
2. Students and/or teacher finished reading "a Diary from Another World"
3. Students and/or teacher discussed a supporting detail for the main idea of page 528.
4. Teacher gave the students a supporting detail which was, "Nazi's killed 6 million Jews as well as others who disagreed with them.  Then, students were told to read, on page 530, "Alas Anne Frank died." and end with "the years between 1939 and 1945". Students were asked to give a main idea for this section.
5. After we finished reading the story, students were asked to give a main idea and 1 supporting detail for the entire story.

4. Students finished reading "Birthday Ritual a Grave Tradition"
5. Students added Main Idea #1 to their table of contents (per. 3 and 5 only)
6. Teacher discussed the story "The Diary of Anne Frank" with students.
7. Students added 1st main idea to the Main Idea #1 page which is the last sentence found on page 528.

5. Teacher discussed the different parts of a newspaper article.
6. Teacher and/or students read pages 634-635 of "Birthday Ritual a Grave Tradition."

1. Students listened to chapters 14 and 15 of The Pigman (per. 1)
2. Students listened to chapter 15 of The Pigman (per. 3 and 5)
3. Student wrote a paragraph on who killed Mr. Pignatti (per. 3 and 5)
4. Students performed their Pigman Skits (per. 3 and 5)
5. Student took part in a philosophical chairs activity on the real reason for Mr. Pignatti's death. (per. 3)
