1. Q.O.D.-Look at Events Leading Up to Civil War timeline on page 415. Place all 5 events order. Number 1 would be the most significant event that lead to the Civil War. Number 5 is the least significant event that led up to the Civil War.
2. Students read Jefferson Davis Inaugural Address section on 414-415
3. Students watched a short parody of Lincoln vs. Davis
4. Students read the rest of 415-416. In addition, students saw a short clip on Fort Sumter
5. Students read 417. They made the title Taking Sides in their journal. Basically, this paper was divided into 2. The first half said North and the second half said South.  Students had to write 2-3 sentences for each section why each half of the U.S. took the position that it did during the Civil War.
6. We looked at a political cartoon that discussed the Mueller Report, Social Security, and Medicare.
