3. Students made Prediction Chart #1 in their journals.  By looking at page 6 of "When Is Lying Ok?", students predicted what each of the 4 articles that they will read are going to be about.

4. Students (per. 1) began reading "It's the Truth: Americans Conflicted About Lying"-Article 1. For periods 3 and 5, they finished reading this article.  Additionally, they filled out Art #1 (B) section of Exploring Key Concepts-When Is Lying Justified Chart for number 1 as guided practice.  Teacher discussed their findings with them.
